Our New House!

So the inspection went great! It was way better then we thought. The only thing we really need to do is a new roof but when we first saw the house we knew that. I took a bunch of pictures and measurements while we were their so I can start to purchase stuff and plan for my paint. I have posted some pictures of the house as it currently stands. Sorry they aren't in any kind of order but at the present time when I get a chance to go on the computer I am spending all my time shopping for stuff for the new house.

The floors we plan to put in. The laminate will go through most of the house and the other colours is cork flooring for my kitchen. I'm trying to decide on which colour for my kitchen.

This is the area we plan to put the guest bedroom. It looks so small because of all of his stuff but when we measured it out it works great.

Nanaimo

Its official we sold our house as of last week. The offer was accepted on Sunday and the subjects were removed on Friday. They are a young couple with a three year old girl and they want another baby. I think they will fit in with the Encore complex very well. We are very sad to leave the encore complex but it will be great to have a house for the kids and a backyard for the dogs to run. On the weekend we went over to the Island with my parents and our Realtor Sandee to look at houses. We found a couple that we liked and on Monday we put an offer in on one on Ryan Road. It is a bit smaller then we were planning on getting at first but the price and neighbourhood is just to good not to get this place. Also saving money on the purchase price will give us a little room to personalize the house to the way we like it. We also have plans to do an expansion once the market is up. We are so excited about the house. We are going back to the house tomorrow to get an inspection on it. If everything goes well we will remove our subjects on Tuesday. While we are at the house tomorrow I will be taking lots of pictures and measurements. I will post the pictures once I get a chance.
Below is the picture of the house as it stands today and above is what we plan to do to the front of the house. I have always wanted a porch and a red front door.

Santa

Yesterday we went to see Santa. I can't believe what a good picture we got both kids have their eyes open and no one is crying! Jordan was really good he just sat on Santa's lap and didn't even try to get away. He wouldn't smile of course, he is a very serious kid :) and little Katie May didn't do much she just stayed put. Im very impressed at how well it went. I thought for sure it was going to be a family picture with Santa so the kids would be okay with this stranger. At the end of the picture Santa gave our little JJ a candy cane and he just stood there looking at him. Sean had to take it from Santa and give it to him. It was so cute our little man doesn't take candy from strangers!

The Pumpkin Patch

Today we took a family trip to the Pumpkin Patch. This is Jordan's first time to the Pumpkin Patch because last year he was just a little too small. Our little Katie May came also but I just carried her in my sling and then my mom held her while we all went on the Hay ride. Jordan was dressed as a Lion and had a great time running around the place.
