New Deck

At the end of summer last year Sean was going down the deck stairs and went through one of them (he didn’t fall or anything). So we knew we were going to be re-doing the stairs when spring came. We had a plan when we moved in to re-do the deck but the plan was for about 5 years down the road. After I realized we had to do the stairs earlier I had been thinking about it all winter and decided that we would just go ahead and get a new deck too. The reason is because I didn’t want to fix the steps only the be torn down in a couple of years because we were planning on expanding the deck. It’s no completely done in the summer Sean and I will be painting all the wood white I think. Not fully decided on that yet.

Olympics part 2

On Saturday Sean and I made a last minute decision to pack the kids up and head to Vancouver for Sunday to participate in more Olympic fun. It was such a beautiful weekend and we only had laundry planned for the day anyways.

I took the kids outside to play the other day because it was so warm and beautiful out
