Christmas!

Jordan and Kaitlyn must have been REALLY good kids this year because once again they got spoiled. I have no idea what I was thinking but we got our little man a drum set. He really loves music and he is always singing so we wanted to get him something to do with music. Sean talked me into the drum set. Jordan just loves it. He is still trying to learn to do the foot one at the same time as the other ones but he is pretty good. We had a traditional Christmas breakfast now made at our house. Grandma and Grandpa Cousins joined us and so did Grandma Simpson and Pappi Hunt. Sean made a fabulous breakfast for everyone. He is such a good man :) Unfortunately Papa and Nana Simpson couldn't make it our on Christmas because they got snowed in. We ended up doing our Christmas day with them a few days later when their road cleared up.

Jordan lost in the presents.

This present I got my mom to buy for Jordan knowing that it would be Sean's favorite gift. Sean kept going over to the tower of doom and playing with it. I am so excited for him and Jordan to play together at the new house. Unfortunately we had to take it down after Christmas day because we have started to pack.

Kaitlyn on her pink rocking horse

Jordan, Kaitlyn, me and my mom went to visit Great Grandma John on Christmas. JJ had a wonderful time pushing Great Grandma around the whole place.

This is Jordan's favorite Christmas present. It's his horse Trigger! Grandma and Grandpa Cousins got it for him. We were a little unsure at first if he was ever going to like it. During all the present giving and unwrapping he was a little overwhelmed and when he was first put on the horse he was confused and fell off. After that he didn't really want to go near the horse. We kept the horse out in the living room and he would just play around it. Then after dinner Sean decided to give it another try and put JJ on the horse and road him around the living room. Maybe after a couple times around the room JJ got the hang of him horse and can now ride him around the house by himself. He always wants to go on Trigger and if he does he has to be wearing his cowboy hat.

He just loves to show off on his horse

We all had a wonderful Christmas here and can't wait to celebrate Christmas next year at our new place in Nanaimo!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was spent at our house for the first time this year. We have started our own traditions this year and still trying to keep some of the old traditions. So this Christmas Eve we enjoyed a wonderful dinner, opened our presents from the pajama fairy and watched our favorite Christmas movies the Grinch and Christmas Vacation.

This is our Christmas tree this year. We got our decorations put up the weekend before Christmas and only hung up the non-breakable bulbs. This year we are so busy and disorganized with the move we didn't really get to decorate the way we like. But at least we did some.

Sledding!!!

So yesterday we also took JJ out on his new sled form grandma Simpson and auntie Krista but of course the batteries were dead so I didn't get any pictures of that wonderful moment. Today Jordan's favorite Aunt came over to play with him so it gave me another chance to get some pictures, and of course I had the camera charged and ready to go.As you can see in the pictures JJ loves the sled! The part you can't tell from the pictures is that every time he goes down the hill he says "WOW" It is just so adorable. Sorry for the lack of pictures of our little Kate May but she doesn't really enjoy the cold and most of these pictures are taken when she is having a nap. I promise to get more pictures of her during the Christmas.

Cookies

On Sunday we decided to stay in all day and enjoy our warm cozy house and fire. The snow was falling all day and night long so we made cookies and finally hung some decorations on the tree. We haven't decorated as much as usual this year because our house is a little disorganized with our move coming up and all. It was nice to get some decorations on the tree instead of just lights. We didn't put up any bulbs that are glass so our tree is a little empty but it looks nice anyway. We also decided to make cookies. This year Jordan really enjoyed making cookies with me. He only really wanted to play with everything but it was just so cute. Sorry I didn't get any pictures of the tree decorating but I let my camera batteries die for the first time ever.
