We finally got our first snow day this winter yesterday. So when Sean got home we bundled the kids and took them outside to play in the front yard. This is the first year the both my kids loved it, last year Katie May was too little.

December so far!
This is our tree half decorated tree it started out full but the kids have been tossing around the bottom half of the ornaments around the house :P
This December has been a full December for our family. At the beginning of December I had the opportunity to become the Organizer of Nanaimo Moms Group. This is a group with currently 64 members and will be growing. It is a great opportunity for me as I love to meet new people and make friends. This has made my calendar a little busy because the old organizers of the group left suddenly so I had to jump in and quickly teach myself the website. I have also had a wonderful amount of support from other members of the group and have a few of them on the organizing team.
On our way to the Party
Waiting in line. He’s so cute
Attempt to see Santa #2 went just as good as #1
And JJ was just having way too much fun to waste time seeing Santa for a second time
Santa did bring them some early Christmas gifts.
This last weekend has also been a very busy weekend for us. It was Sean’s Saturday on then we held our annual Christmas party with a bunch of my mommy friends and their husbands. That was a great party it was an ugly sweater party which made it so fun. The next morning we had a mommy group Christmas party for the kids and they played so hard Katie May passed out on the ride home. After nap time we headed over to one of Sean’s co-workers for another Christmas get together which was also a ton of fun. Now I'm getting ready to relax. Tomorrow I have an Organizers meeting with all their kids, Wednesday I have a Ladies night in at my place, Friday is Sean’s work party and then on Saturday we are planning on going to the Christmas train depending on the weather.

Santa Picture 2009
The Santa picture went a little different then I thought it would this year. I really thought it would be JJ that would freak out this year because of how shy he is but it turned out our little one who usually doesn’t mind going to anyone didn’t really like Santa. We also found the Santa a little weird and the picture lady was telling us that Santa doesn’t like it when they cry it stresses him out. Okay I thought crying kids was part of the job but then half way through the whole process she told us he didn’t like the crying because just before us he had a little boy fall off his lap! I think he should have taken the day off if he was stressed out from that poor guy. In the end we got a picture of Jordan looking serious like normal and Katie freaking out. I think she must have sensed that Santa had dropped a kid before her.
I love this picture with her little tummy showing.

Family picture 2009
On the weekend we went out to do our annual family picture.
This is the picture we chose for our Christmas card. We decided to go with the Ocean and ferry in the background because we now live in Nanaimo
setting up the decorations
We purchased a pack of new ornaments for this year and maybe next year till the kids no longer toss them around the room. They are the plastic ones they still look cute.
Katie really enjoyed the set up.
My parents got Jordan the Polar Express movie so it kept him interested during the furniture changes.
We set up the tree in the middle of the bay window it looks so beautiful.
The Polar Express has become his new favourite movie.
The stockings on the new fireplace :)
I haven’t got around to taking a final picture of the set up I do plan on doing it.
